If anyone has read my recent blog, NappyCentric, they would know that one of my favorite websites is MadameNoire.com--a website dedicated to women of color.
Their posts are entertaining and informative and, by the look of their comment section of each post, are EXTREMELY needed. LOL
What I really like about MadameNoire is that it is the only website that contributes to the discussion of Colorism within our community.
One out of the many things that caught my eye about this subject on MadameNoire.com is a new documentary that is coming out in the Fall/Winter of this year called Dark Girls: A Documentary. The doc is told from the perspective of dark skinned women of color who have suffered the horrible tale end of Colorism within the Black Community.
It looks interesting! Can't wait to see it! :-)
